A bonded t1 line are several T1 lines bonded together into a single big pipe connecting to the internet. A single T1 line has an upload and download speed of 1.55 Mbps. Four bonded T1 lines for example give you a speed of 6Mbps. If your 2x bonded T1 is not giving you 3 meg than you most likely have a load balancing setup, not a bonded T1. The cost of a bonded T1 line is usually the number of T1 lines you want to bond multiplied with the cost of a single t1 line. A single T1 line costs between $300 - $750 (depending on your location) so a 3x bonded T1 line (4.5Mbps) would cost between $900 and $2250 per month.
